MockinBird Cover
MockinBird is a bimonthly humor publication and website with articles, stories, illustration, and comics contributed by volunteers, based around a common theme. I was offered the opportunity to create a cover for the eighth issue, with the theme, "Who left the radio on?" Since the cover doesn't correspond to a specific story inside, I opted to focus on the mystery implied by the theme question, illustrating a number of suspicious characters alluding to familiar mystery archetypes, with some small twists.
Because the cover is a stand alone piece, I made certain it contains some clues that allow the viewer to solve the radio mystery.
